Treatment
The treated area will be numbed with local anesthesia to alleviate pain. Your specialist will make a tiny incision into your gums in order to expose your tooth root. Any infected tissue is removed as well as the tip of the tooth root. If needed, a filling may be used to seal the canal. The area will be stitched, and gauze will be used to prevent bleeding in the area. Over the next few months, the bone will heal and you can smile confidently again!
